Mitsubishi HiTec Paper to increase prices for whole product range
Mitsubishi HiTec Paper will increase prices world-wide for the whole product range (thermal papers, carbonless papers, inkjet papers) by minimum 10%, according to region and product group. The price adaption is valid for shipments from May 1st, 2010 onwards. With this inevitable price increase the producer of high quality communication paper reacts to the ongoing strong rise of raw material costs – especially to the extreme pulp costs hikes and the reduction in supply of this important raw material on the global market.

Mitsubishi HiTec Paper to increase prices for matt coated inkjet papers
Mitsubishi HiTec Paper will increase prices for its matt coated “jetscript” inkjet papers world-wide by 5 %. The price adjustment is valid for order incomes from Februaray 1st, 2010. Prices for raw materials have been increasing for some time. So far Mitsubishi HiTec Paper has absorbed these additional costs and was offering a stable price level to its customers. After the cost increases in the past months, this is now no longer possible and a price adjustment is inevitable.

Mitsubishi HiTec Paper is forced to announce a world-wide price increase for its thermoscript Point-Of-Sales thermal papers, varying according to currency area. Prices for raw materials have been increasing for some time. So far Mitsubishi HiTec Paper has absorbed these additional costs and avoided raising prices for as long as possible.
