DPX 4 Eco: Computer to Polyester Plate (CtPP) with Eco-Technology for B2 and B3 format
The environmentally friendly DPX 4 Eco features proven Eco technology. Instead of the plate entering a deep multi-bath processor, the chemistry is coated directly onto the plate in a thin layer. This results in extremely stable plate development at 50% less chemistry consumption and translates into a superior printed product.
The DPX 4 Eco plate setter is an extremely flexible CtPP imagesetting system that outputs press-ready polyester plates up to B2 format. The optional second plate magazine allows different formats, e.g. B2 and B3, to be output.
With a resolution of 2,540 dpi the DPX 4 Eco produces a 4c plate set in 9 minutes. The finished printing plates can be used in a printing press immediately.
The DPX 4 Eco processes Mitsubishi Silver Digiplate polyester plates brilliantly in daylight operation. Careful adjustment of the polyester plate to the DPX 4 Eco guarantees a tone value range of 3 - 97 % for 175 lpi. Larger screen rulings and FM screening are also possible.
The DPX 4 Eco can image with any resolution between 1,200 and 3,000 dpi and adjusts the dot size automatically. This CtPP internal-drum image setter has an integrated plate punch as standard.
